Benefits to Participants

What is the Benefit of Combining Lung Cancer Screening & Tobacco Treatment?

Lung cancer screening can provide peace of mind and find lung cancer early when it is most treatable.  Another benefit of lung cancer screening is that it can give people the motivation to make progress toward quitting or reducing the amount they are smoking.  Combining this motivation with participation in the TEAL study provides the tools to help you reduce the amount you are smoking and/or to quit for good!

We understand how hard it is to quit smoking and are here to provide support and medications to help you succeed.  The most effective way to reduce your chance of getting lung cancer is to quit smoking.
